This Community Kitchen Doubles as a Food Bank

Showing how good works breed good works, the DC Central Kitchen is a community powerhouse dedicated to improving Washington, D.C. through food. Not only does DCCK give homeless individuals a fresh start by teaching them culinary skills, but it also acts as a food distributor to institutions that serve the impoverished, including homeless shelters and schools in low-income communities.
