I am working towards completing the BA Environmental Practice program - doing things kind of backwards. I have been a chef and a musician most of my adult life. Originally I graduated from St. Clair College with a diploma in Culinary Arts and Management, and with this I worked in kitchens from Ontario to the UK and Sweden before settling in Tofino on Vancouver Island. In 2012 I went back to school, and in 2014 completed a grad program in Food Security at Ryerson University. Living in Victoria now, it's time to do the undergrad! I have plans to eventually complete the Emergency and Disaster Management Masters program at Royal Roads, tying together my food security and environmental disciplines with sustainability, resiliency, and emergency preparedness.
